Inner Harbor Task Force Meeting Open to Public

The meeting will be held tonight, Oct. 22 from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Seaport Conference Center, 459 Seaport Court, Redwood City.

Community members interested in hearing the discussion on the visioning process for Redwood City's Inner Harbor area are invited to attend a meeting tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 22.

According to a city media release the goal of the visioning process is to create an Inner Harbor Specific Plan. That plan will provide a "blueprint" for the future of the Inner Harbor Area (located on the bay side of US 101 between Docktown and the Malibu Grand Prix Raceway, and north-east to the edge of the existing businesses in the Seaport Centre area).

The Inner Harbor Plan Task Force, made up of key stakeholders, held its first three visioning sessions in June and July, and is now reengaging this fall to begin work on developing alternatives for the study area.

City officials encourage any interested members of the community to join in this important process.
