Blotter: Man Found on Ground Bleeding from Mouth

The following information was supplied by the Redwood City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday 

5:56 a.m. - Suspicious Person - A man, described as wearing shorts and a striped shirt, knocked on someone's door on El Camino Real, claiming he needed to go to the hospital. He was reportedly bleeding from his left arm and seemed to be hiding from someone. The resident did not let him in.

12:54 p.m. - Illegal Dumping - An unknown suspect dumped garbage and a couch on someone's property on El Camino Real.

3:12 p.m. - Disturbance - Someone reported that a party of more than 200 people was happening on Tiller Lane. 

6:21 p.m. - Disturbance / Domestic Violence - A girl called police to report that her dad hit her after coming into her room, asking who she was talking to on the phone and hanging it up.

8:02 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - A woman on East Bayshore Road told police that someone broke one of her apartment windows.

10:53 p.m. - Shots Fired - Someone heard two gun shots near Marsh Road and U.S. Highway 101.

 

Sunday

4:18 a.m. - Disorderly Conduct / Public Drunkenness - Someone was clearly intoxicated on El Camino Real and refusing to leave a business. Police later arrested the person for being drunk in public.

12:10 p.m. - DUI / Arrest - Police arrested someone for drunken driving after the person hit another car on Grand Street.

5:39 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Someone reported seeing a man walking around Twin Dolphin Drive, carrying a screwdriver. 

9:03 p.m. - Shoplifting / Arrest - Police arrested a white man in his 30s, after he tried to steal food from a deli in a store on El Camino Real.

 

Monday

9:20 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Someone found some empty wine bottles and blankets on the roof of a building on Broadway.

12:43 p.m. - Suspicious Person / Public Exposure - A man in his 50s was picked up by medics after he dropped his pants on Hilton and Laurel Streets and exposed himself.

5:16 p.m. - Person Down - Someone found man laying on the ground near Woodside Road and Gordon Street, bleeding from his mouth with his wallet and cell phone next to him.

10:53 p.m. - Trespass / Arrest - Police arrested a man for trespassing after he was panhandling in front of a store on Broadway and harassing passersby.
