ARTS RWC: San Francisco ART Reception Saturday! Get up there!
ARTS RWC celebrates an ARTIST Reception up in San Francisco THIS SATURDAY, featuring two San Mateo county artists...and you know one of them!
YO RWC, I have exciting news, of a personal nature! And, yes, it does include a San Francisco reception tomorrow. So, stop the presses (if you know what that means - HA) and see how this lovely opportunity came to pass for me.
So I was asked by extraordinaire painter Boris Koodrin to join him for his show, “Life Thinly Sliced” in the fabulous space at 1000 Van Ness in San Francisco (WITH THANKS TO ART MEETS ARCHITECTURE!). It is my first exhibit in San Francisco in a few years. The venue, known as the “Cadillac Building,” is amazing! Here are some images of the space, so you can see what I mean:

Boris paints on doors (!) and they are incredible, accompanied by his written musings. He asked if I would like to exhibit my Doorway Collections, which would perfectly complement his painted doors. It was an honor to be asked, and there are now fourteen, yes fourteen Doorway Collections gracing the walls at 1000 Van Ness, including the excellent Doors of Italy III Collection, featuring twenty-five different and delightful Italian doors. And I know how y'all LOVE DOORS!!
The show has been up for a few weeks and has to come down on April 7th, so it is time for a PARTY! Which brings us back to Saturday...
