ARTS RWC: Final Weekend of Les Liaisons Dangereuses

ARTS RWC: Final Weekend of Les Liaisons Dangereuses @Dragon Theatre. Stop dragon your feet and go see it!

YO REDWOOD CITY!

This is the final weekend of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, the second offering from Dragon Theatre Productions in downtown Redwood City.  And, if you haven't heard, people are raving about it!  And why not?  Check out this juicy description:

A tale of seduction set in France among aristocrats, this drama explores decadent sexuality, morals and manipulation played as the ultimate battle of the sexes between the rivals Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont. In this classic story of revenge, love, lust, and betrayal, Les Liaisons Dangereuses shows us that "the only thing which might surprise one is how little the world changes."

Sounds like an episode of "Scandal" but better!   So stop dragon your feet and march downtown (ok, you can call or find them online) and get tickets before you miss out!  I have my tickets for this Thursday, and am so looking forward to seeing my second Dragon production. We are so lucky to have them here in our downtown!

Psssst: This would be a COOL Mother's Day gift...just sayin'!

And BIG NEWS!  Redwood City has just started a new Valet Parking Program on the weekend.  Starting May 3rd, car drivers can take their vehicle to the intersection of Middlefield and Broadway (that's practically next to the Dragon Theatre) between the hours of 6 and 11 p.m. and have someone from All About Parking valet park it for them.

The cost of the service is $10, however, Dragon Theatre is offering validation for same evening ticket holders with a stamp at the Box Office. Then you're only paying $5 to valet park your car!

There are more details on the valet service and other participating business in downtown Redwood City in this article on Patch. Huge thanks to our friends at the Fox Theatre for getting this going for the summer!

We also recommend the County Parking Garage at Middlefield and Veteran's Parkway for free, easy parking just two blocks away!
