Daniel Jude, Neighbor

I am currently in senior year at Sequoia High School. I take all IB Courses, and I am a diploma candidate. If you don't know what that means, it is basically the same as AP but internationally reknown and a little more work on the side, including 150 hours of community service, and a 3600-4000 word essay I turned in at the end of last semester. 

If you were wondering, I wrote my essay on Seinfeld. My specific question was "What did Seinfeld do differently as a sitcom, and did these changes carry over into other shows?" As you may be able to imagine, doing this essay was as fun as a 4000 word essay can be. It also prompted me to explore television more, which is why I attended a Summer@Brown course that covers everything about television, and why I want to write for Patch.

Getting the experience of being a published writer, I assume, will have a greatly positive affect on not only my writing skills but my thinking skills. With this blog I will be forced to think analytically, which will help me as I go forward into college.

For readers, I hope this blog gives a view into a mind that can be unorthodox but overall interesting. I will try as hard as I can to make the writing as thoughtful and enjoyable as possible.

Or maybe I'll just make jokes.
