Midpeninsula Regional Public Workshop This Weekend in Redwood City:  
Help Determine Priorities for Open Space Preserves for Years to Come  

Saturday, November 16 ~ 1-4pm Peninsula Foothills and Baylands Regions Fair Oaks Community Center - Multipurpose Room 2600 Middlefield Rd., Redwood City 94063 

This is Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District's 5th and final public workshop in Redwood City. Attend and share your goals and priorities for open space. During these dynamic and interactive meetings, you will learn about identified priorities for specific regions, have the opportunity to discuss priorities with other community members, rate priorities, and be able to see real time results of what the community says is most important. Your input will influence our priorities for years to come.

Presentation on the Origins of San Francisco Bay
1:00 p.m San Mateo County History Museum, 2200 Broadway
The Museum will present Ken Lajoie, who will discuss 
the origins of the San Francisco Bay on November 16, 2013 at 1 p.m.  Lajoie is an accomplished geologist retired 
from the United States Geological Survey. The lecture is free with cost of admission 
($5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students).

Foundry Crab Feed
5-10 p.m. The Foundry
This Saturday, November 16th from 5pm - 10pm The Foundry is throwing its first ever CRAB FEED to benefit the Encore and Monsoon Volleyball Teams. We will be serving pasta, salad, crab and bread rolls. There will be a bar selling spirits and live falsetto music from Ryan Kamakakehua Fernandez as well as the reggae band Rafaproviding entertainment.
