Photos: ‘Royal Family’ of Volunteers Honored with Tea
Volunteers from the Peninsula Family Service received the royal treatment Friday.
Without asking for anything in return, volunteers at the Peninsula Family Service programs devote their time at various activities from cleaning toys at to serving meals to the older adults.
But on Friday, the volunteers got the royal treatment with a Volunteer Appreciation Event “Our Royal Family of Volunteers.” During National Volunteer Week, the organization honored the volunteers at the with a fun, festive afternoon tea fit for a queen—and king.
