Representing Hoover School and the Redwood City Boys and Girls Club chapter, eighth grader Omar Allevan wins "Youth of the Year."

His natural leadership, determination and natural eloquence are all evident within seconds of speaking with eighth grader Omar Allevan, 13.

But to Omar, creativity is his key to success. He lives by the motto “Be creative,” in order to innovate and work to collaborate with his peers.
