Video: Champions, Not Bullies

The Young Dreamer Network hosted an anti-bullying rally to raise awareness about the harmful effect bullying has on everyone, not just the victims.

As technology continues to pervade students’ lives, about ways to torment their victims. With social media and texting, they can hide behind cloaks of anonymity while stil effectively conveying their taunts.

But the victim is not the only one who must suffer from the threats. The bully continues to ignore deeper emotional problems, and bystanders may lose of sense of what’s right and wrong.

The Young Dreamer Network comprehensively tackles this problem by reaching out to the victim, bully and bystander. The “Champions, Not Bullies” rally held at the Monday was an awareness campaign to let everyone know the dangerous effect bullying has on everyone.

Partners included the and performance from the Peapod Adobe Youth Voice Academy and Radio Silence NYC.

Bullying is so detrimental to kids' ability to thrive in school, and there are definitely ways that we can stem the tide. This event was meant to encourage action and conversation around this issue.
