Local Student's Documentary to Debut at Fox Theatre

The documentary, produced by a high school student, premieres on Dec. 9 and free tickets are available.

 

The Redwood City-based Young Dreamer Network (YDN), an organization that encourages young citizens to make a difference in their communities, will present a new documentary on teen volunteerism at the Fox Theatre on Dec. 9.

"Sean Story, a member of the Young Dreamer Network, has produced a moving, thought-provoking documentary film based on teen service," said Brian Buntz of YDN.

The film, titled "Being the Difference," will premiere on Dec. 9 at 3:30, and tickets can be requested free of charge. The film is roughly 45 minutes long.

Since 2010, Sean Story, a junior at Everest Public High School in Redwood City, has seen YDN transform many lives, including his own.

"As a member of the program, Sean has learned about the significance of teen volunteer work," Buntz said. "He produced this documentary to share with you an inspirational story of teens making a difference here on the Peninsula, and in communities around the globe." 

Tickets for the premiere are free to the community and can be obtained by visiting foxrwc.com.
