Video: Roosevelt Students Survive ‘Earthquake’

As part of California Shake-out, Redwood City schools participated in an earthquake drill.

“Duck, cover and hold,” was the call that all students and administrators in the heard at 10:20 a.m Thursday.

We never know when the “Big One” will strike, so Earthquake Country Alliance and its partners rounded up 8.6 million people from schools and organizations statewide to participate in the California Shake-out.

Students and teachers at went through the simulation as if a major earthquake were to occur.
