Redwood City Invites Public To Reimagine Inner Harbor

The City of Redwood City is making new land-use laws for the Inner Harbor.

The City of Redwood City is inviting the public to get involved in the creation of a plan for the Inner Harbor.

The plan would make land-use laws for people already within the Inner Harbor and those who want to build there.

The Inner Harbor Plan Task Force, tasked with crafting the plan, met for the first time on June 13 and will be holding a public meeting to discuss the vision for the area.

The discussion starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday July 23 at the Seaport Conference Center, located at 459 Seaport Court in Redwood City.

The group is expected to work on creating a draft plan, which must be approved by Planning Commission and the City Council. They are expected to conclude their work in spring 2014.
