Main St. Dog Park Plan Hits The Ground Running

Construction on the new park is expected to begin this summer.

According to the city's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Dept., the design agreement for the Main Street Dog Park is moving along.

The city has signed an agreement with the with the developer, MIG, and construction services have been initiated.

The department will engage with Caltrain due to the proximity to the tracks and the queuing of cars adjacent to the park and before the tracks.  Redwood City traffic engineer Jessica Manzi will help with the Catrain study.

The project time line is as follows: 
Dec.-Jan:  Complete Design
Feb-Mar:  Design Documents
Apr-Jun:  Bid and Award Project
July-Sept:  Construction
