Caltrain To Give Free Rides on New Year's Eve

All aboard the after-party train.

Caltrain will be giving free rides starting at 11 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, in an effort to encourage Bay Area residents to party responsibly. 


Post New Year’s Eve-party travelers can also look forward to four extra trains that will leave after midnight from the San Francisco station. Usually, trains stop running after midnight.

The extra trains will depart at 12:45 a.m. 1:15 a.m., 1:45 a.m., and 2:15 a.m.
