Suspect’s Armed Robbery Count Rises to 5 (VIDEO)

A surveillance camera has captured video of the suspect robbing a local store.

The has captured video of the man who reportedly robbed five stores within one week.

He is seen in this video here at the cash register paying for a bottle of water.

Detectives from the police department and the San Mateo County’s Sheriff’s Office are asking the public to help identify this suspect.

The Sheriff’s Department describes the suspect as a “Hispanic Male in his 20’s or 30’s, approximately 5’10, with a medium build and short dark hair.”

The suspect was armed with a dark semi-automatic pistol and took an undisclosed amount of cash at the following locations:

  1. , 37 Willow Street in Redwood City, Tuesday at approximately 7:43 p.m.
  2. , 2940 Middlefield Road, Wednesday at 3:34 p.m.
  3. , 2856 Middlefield Road, Thursday at 1:03 p.m.
  4. , 795 5th Avenue
  5. , 985 2nd Avenue, Tuesday, August 14 at 9:00 a.m.
