Posai Toleseli, 20, Jamie Maldonado, 21, and Marycruz Miranda, 20, were riding through Mountian View on June 13 when police pulled them over. Mountain View Police say the car looked like a vehicle that was linked to a burglary that happened in Sunnyvale. The officer said he saw items in the car that were taken from that home.
Sunnyvale DPS, Palo Alto PD, Redwood City PD, and the San Mateo Sheriff’s office pooled their intelligence to connect the trio to burglaries that happened throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara County.
“Through a truly collaborative investigative effort, by all involved agencies, multiple victims were quickly identified,” said Lt. Sean Hart, Redwood City PD Investigator. “Multiple pieces of stolen property were recovered; confirming that all three subjects were involved in committing residential burglaries. All three suspects’ residences were searched.”
The three were arrested and charged with burglary and conspiracy. The investigation into the burglaries continues. Detective Jessica Gray is asking anyone with information about these suspects and the burglaries to call her at (650) 780-7129.
