Early Morning Fire Blazes in Redwood City

Firefighters extinguished a one-alarm fire that destroyed a Redwood City shed early Thursday morning, a fire department dispatcher said.

The fire was reported at about 2:45 a.m. behind a home in the 3400 block of Page Street, the dispatcher said.

No one was injured, and the fire was under control in about 10 minutes, the dispatcher said.

No neighboring buildings were damaged.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
