PHOTOS: Sunnyvale Man Wins Redwood City 36th Annual Fourth of July Run

Hundreds of runners from many parts of the Bay Area ran through the streets of downtown Redwood City early this morning for the 36th annual Fourth of July Parade Run, one part of the city-wide Fourth of July activities.

Sunnyvale runner Tony Herr finished the race in first place with a time of 19 minutes and 13 seconds.

The popular 3.5 mile run was held along the route of the parade under ideal conditions.

All proceeds from the race benefit the Redwood City Education Foundation's Save Our School Music campaign.
