Marlin Park Playground in Redwood Shores Re-Opened

The playground at Marlin Park in Redwood Shores re-opened in early August.

Two more weeks of summer before most schools start.   For a working mom like me, that means only 2 more weekends of summer fun in the new Marlin Park in Redwood Shores before the school year soccer games, practices and our weekends get filled up with school year activities.

In case you missed the grand opening on August 4th, the playground at Marlin Park re-opened after a significant facelift.  The playground kept the design of its main play structure, with a bridge, tunnels and winding slide, but added a great web spider web and two mini merry-go-rounds.  When our children visited the park, the mini merry-go-rounds were the most popular.

For those who have babies and toddlers, there is now a fenced-in toddler section so the little ones don’t get run over by the big kids.
