On the Fringe (al Borda), a new pop-up shop for the Holidays in Redwood City, is serving tamales and hot chocolate on Nov 2nd from 5-7 pm, for a Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) fiesta for the public . Come get yours, while they last!
Look for the 2 giant Frida-Kahlo-style skeletons in our window ($100ea), created for Your-Day-of-the-Dead party by Seattle artist, Lana Sundberg, with the help of local artists, Belinda Rose and Nance Romance. These 2 were inspired by the ones Frida made for her Casa Azul in Mexico City. Come on by and check-out our Catrinas and Sugar-skull art from $10-$45, and Nance's elegant gem-stone necklaces for Holiday giving (and wearing) ($ 45-$100).
On the Fringe (al Borda) is just north of the Super Mercado Ayar, where you can park (and shop!), at 2707 El Camino Real, RWC. Wed-Saturdays, 10:30-12:30, and 4-8pm, or by appointment 650-368-7336.
