This Week's Construction on Crossing 900 Project Delayed Due to Weather

The following alert was sent out by the Redwood City Police Department on Wednesday:

Last Friday, The City shared that the first concrete pour on the Crossing 900 project would be this Thursday, March 6th depending on the weather. Well, rainy weather is expected to win this "first round" with the concrete pour. With inclement weather in the forecast, this work is expected to be delayed by a day.

Here is a quick summary of the revised schedule:

Set-up of the concrete pumps will start very late evening of Thursday, March 6th (just before mid-night and well after the peak commute period). Crews will then pour concrete continuously until approximately 6:30am on Friday, March 7th. Once again, the contractor is basing this schedule on current rain predictions; this work will continue to be weather dependent.
