The Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile was a hit with residents.
Residents who were in downtown Redwood City Thursday night received a pleasant surprise as the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile pulled up right outside .
Driver Danica Schmidt was visiting her cousin, Redwood City resident Ernie Schmidt, while driving on a Northwest tour of the US.
Parked in front of Sakura, patrons paused from their meals to take photos with the mobile.

Danica Schmidt handed out weenie whistles to fans of the restaurant chain.
