Thanks to the Friends of the Library, the downtown branch of the Redwood City Public Library deserves its own marquee.....with a wide variety of musical events, classes, and workshops, the library is its own microcosm of life in Redwood City.

This Thursday, Jan. 23, there are two special events happening at the library--one in the afternoon and one in the evening:

12-1 p.m.

Community Health Talk -Hot Topics in Nutrition

Most people caught up in the no-gluten movement probably couldn't tell you what gluten is. Moreover, over 99% of the people who are avoiding gluten are doing so unnecessarily. It's a silly fad that's making lots of money for some companies at the expense of the gullible and uninformed.
