Saturday Will be a Beautiful Day for an Autumn Tree Walk

Learn about Redwood City's native trees and the history of Garrett Park with a local arborist.

The public is invited to join a local arborist for a walk through the trees in one of Redwood City's most treasured resources, Garrett Park on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Arborist, Jess Running from Davey Trees lead the walk through the seven-acre park, along the Hetch Hetchy and on nearby neighborhood streets. Garrett Park is tucked in the base of Emerald Hills. Running discuss the native trees, introduced species, history of the park and learn the source of the creek that meanders through the park. A light breakfast will be provided.

The Walk will start at the entrance to Garrett Park. Only 30 spaces available for this event. $10 per person donation requested.  Sign up for reservations.
