The latest edition features several World War II stories.

The Journal of Local History surveys the history of San Mateo County and specifically Redwood City.

It is published three times a year by members of Redwood City Public Library's Archives Committee.

The latest edition features several World War II stories. One is about a relatively unknown internment camp in Pacifica that held Germans and Italians as well as Japanese detainees. Another article details the history of the tank at Mezes Park. Find out more about our local history!

The magazine is available by subscription at the Archives Room in the Downtown Library which is open from 1:00 - 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday.  For more information, please contact gsuarez@redwoodcity.org.
