Nerd New Year took over the 2600 block of Broadway for 11/11/11.

The Nerd New Year hosted on featured street vendors, music and fire dancers; all in the name of charity.

Several screens were put up on Broadway to count down the hours until 11:11 p.m. Commemorative mugs were sold for $11 dollars, along with the beer to fill it.
