Police Activity in Redwood City Slows Caltrain Service

Trains are only operating on the northbound tracks around the Fifth Avenue area.

Police activity in the Redwood City area has disrupted Caltrain service this afternoon, a Caltrain spokeswoman said.

The activity is occurring near the tracks at Fifth Avenue, and trains are only operating on the northbound tracks through that area, Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.

Passengers boarding trains at the Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos and Belmont stations are all being instructed to board on the northbound platforms.
