Lost in Redwood City

As a first-time visitor to Redwood City I cruised to town with my trusty GPS voice guiding my way from 101 through a bunch of construction and to my destination, 2225 Broadway, or so I thought.

La Boulanger was nowhere in site, though I knew from seeing Sequoia High I was at least in the right city.

Confused, I asked a mailman, who disturbingly had clue how to direct me. (Really??). I then accosted a man passing by who told me my destination was about a half mile away. I hustled on my way, now 30 minutes late for a meeting.

Afterward, while sitting just a block from the bakery, I tested the GPS again, and it was still trying to send me to the wrong spot.

Has anyone else experienced GPS weirdness here in RWC? (I'm on an iPhone 4...) I've never had such a problem before.

I even just asked two friendly RWC cops if they knew if any address weirdness and they said, nope, that spot is downtown by Courthouse Square just where I ended up.

Will the real 2225 Broadway please stand up?
