Woodside resident wins event in North American Bridge Championship

The American Contract Bridge League hosted its Fall North American Bridge Championship in Phoenix, Arizona, Nov.28-Dec.8. More than 5,000 bridge players from all around the world participated in this tournament. Woodside, Calif., resident, Vinita Gupta, along with her bridge partners, Eric Rodwell (Clearwater Beach, Fla.), Billy Miller (Las Vegas, Nev.), Lew Stansby (Dublin, Calif.), Jeff Meckstroth (Clearwater Beach, Fla.), and Bart Bramley (Dallas, Texas) won the Baze Senior Knockout Teams event.
