Hector Camacho, Jr, Neighbor

Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Hector Camacho and I am thrilled to be a resident of South San Francisco. My wife and I are proud alumni of South San Francisco High School (Go Warriors!) and currently live with our young son in Westborough.

I've always been so pleased to be a member of the South City community. Early on, I began volunteering and working at a local non-profit organization. Later, Mr. Mullin's American Government class exposed me to a behind-the-scenes look at how our community works and helped me understand the importance of civic duty.

It was these earlier experiences that helped me decide to become a classroom teacher. Following my undergraduate degree at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, I went on to earn a master's degree in Education (Go Cardinal!) and have been working in public service ever since.

My wife and I were married at St. Veronica's and are happy to be parishoners of such a wonderful church community.  

As a homeowner I am delighted to see that Patch has become a new forum for community involvement and I look forward to participating with my fellow residents.
