This rash of burglaries has followed a trail that leads back to the state penal system. California…Read More was ordered by the courts to alleviate overcrowding in it's prisons. So they off-loaded non-violent offenders to county jails who in turn experienced overcrowding. So the counties have been forced to release some offenders back into communities. As soon as these releases occurred, we saw burglaries, especially brazen burglaries, start to occur with greater frequency. Thank the courts.

The crosswalk is huge and brightly painted in yellow but the cars just ignore it. I have said I'd be a decoy for the police at that intersection but they do not seem interested. RWC could make a lot of money from tickets there, that's for sure!

We stopped for them to make the U-turn and I was amazed how he turned that big truck right around with no problem. They made it there as fast as they could.
