Tapestry Church

<p>This Bible-based church near downtown, affiliated with the Assemblies of God, has a highly developed music ministry and youth programs as well as the Kiddie Garden preschool. Sunday morning services are streamed live on the church website.</p> <p>Formerly known as Peninsula Christian Center, Tapestry Church has been serving the area for 80 years. The church is a depot for Angel Food Ministries, a co-op grocery-buying program that is open to all regardless of need.</p> <p>For a few days before Christmas each year, Tapestry puts on its popular<em> Bethlehem AD </em>pageant, a walk-through living-theater production, complete with animals and Roman centurions, that takes visitors back to the time and place where Jesus was born.
