Kaiser Permanente Health Care

<p>Serving the larger San Mateo County community, the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Redwood City treats thousands of patients every year.</p> <p>The Hospital offers treatment in various departments from gynecology to oncology to general care and is primarily for short-term acute care. The facility has 213 beds, 199 are for adult and/or pediatric care and 10 for intensive care. It accepts Medicare and Medicaid.</p> <p>The Hospital will begin construction on a new seven-story 149-bed hospital in 2011. This will feature larger rooms so families can stay with patients overnight. </p>
