For 20 years, the DayBreak Shelter has offered assistance to families and youth through transitional housing for homeless teens. The shelter is managed by Kara Wahlin and provides training in various skills for independent living. The residents stay for a six-month program while they attend school and work, learning to cook, shop, manage money, find jobs and locate housing.
