Photos: Corkscrew Boat Race Raises $1,700 for Food Bank

Nearly 100 athletes raced in the 6th annual Corkscrew Regatta on Sunday.

At least five different rowing clubs including the , Marin Rowing Association, Los Gatos Rowing Club, Northbay Rowing Club, SF Bay Blades, Deep Water Rowing, and Sacramento State Aquatic Center had rowers participating in the race for a good cause. There were also independent scullers from all over the bay area.

About 200 lbs. of canned food were collected, and the event also raised over $1,700 for the Second Harverst Food Bank.
