Deadline Approaching for Sequoia Awards Nomination

Oct. 31 is the final day to submit a nomination for the annual awards that recognize businesses, individuals and students for exemplary community service.

The Sequoia Awards recognizes outstanding volunteerism in the Redwood City community among students, individuals and businesses. The Awards Board is now seeking nominations for the 2014 awards, and for the two dozen $5,000 scholarships for high school seniors. Learn the application details.  

Over the past two decades, the Sequoia Awards scholarship program has awarded almost $1.4 million dollars to students who are involved in community service. The top business and individual who volunteer in the community are also honored each year.  


Important Dates: 

  • Deadline for nominations is Oct. 31st.
  • Awards event to be held March 6, 2014 at the Hotel Sofitel.
