Car Repair Shop Partners with Patch to Fix One Car Every Month

Sophia’s Euro Asia Motors wants to give back to the community, but it needs your help.

When planning a monthly budget, car repairs are rarely a regular line item. So when your car unexpectedly won’t start or starts to smoke, it can set you back a few hundred dollars. And for most families, this financial burden cuts deeply into paying the other bills.

is an auto collision repair shop that has been in Redwood City for years and would like to alleviate this often crippling payment for many families.

“I personally love the idea of a socially responsible business,” said Sammy Alinaeem, owner of Sophia’s. “I want to give back as much as possible to the community.”

Every month, Sophia's is generously offering to fix one car a month for a family in need.

Nominate a family in need (it could be your own family!) by emailing stacie@patch.com with the subject line "Car Repair." Please include the following:

  • Family’s name
  • Family’s contact number
  • Brief description of why they’re deserving (~250 words)

On the first of every month, we’ll select a winner and then post a brief article on Patch.

Requirement: Winning families must be willing to have their photo taken at Sophia’s Euro Asia Motors. Families must have members living in Redwood City.
