Which Is Your Favorite Farmers’ Market?

Another farmers' market opens today—this one in Redwood Shores.

‘Tis the season to be local. The Redwood Shores Farmers’ Market is opening today for all residents to enjoy fresh produce and goods.

The West Coast Farmers Market Association joins a slew of other Farmers’ Markets in Redwood City. This one is on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. year round in the Redwood Shores Library parking lot at 399 Marine Parkway.

The summer long competition aims to see which farmers markets can generate the most votes from their customers. The goal of the contest is to promote the role that farmers markets play in keeping family farmers on the land.
