July 4th Parade Features New Route
After hitting the parade, check out Redwood City's other great Fourth of July events, including a helicopter flyover.
Pack up those lawn chairs and get ready for a slightly different, yet still patriotic, July 4th. The parade route is different from last year and at the .
The Peninsula Celebration Association has altered the July 4th parade route this year, so check out the map at www.parade.org or click on the photo to the right.
There will also be a helicopter flyover during the parade. The copter is owned by non-profit EMU, Inc., and is sponsored by the Living Room Lounge.

Want a great view of the fireworks? will be opening up its upper parking lot 7 at 6:30 p.m. Visit http://canadacollege.net/stories/Fireworks.php for details. However, alcohol, barbecues, pets, and personal fireworks are not permitted on campus.
There will also be a carnival in the county parking lot at Veterans Boulevard and Winslow Street, hosted by the Woodside Terrace Kiwanis.
