The Cherokees beat Peninsula Athletic League Bay Division leader Carlmont, 202-212, setting a school record in doing so.

Yamane and Duncan led the team with scores of 1-over-par 37 as Sequoia recorded the lowest score of the season by a Bay Division team.
Matt Maldonado, Matt Brotherton, Will Baker, and Will James also contributed to the victory. The previous low mark of 206 was set in 2008.
Sequoia is capitalizing on the success it had last year in the Coast League. Sequoia moved up to the Bay League this year.
