Sequoia Debate Team Graduates First Class of Seniors

Among Sequoia High School's graduating class of 2013, 4 of the graduating seniors will now make up the Sequoia Speech and Debate Team's first group of alumni. All four of these amazing students have been with the Team for 2-3 years, and they have all seen the Team grow from a scrambling group of youth with no coaches and no clue about the debate world to a stronger team with top-notch educators. In addition to becoming Sequoia Alumni, these four young leaders are lifetime members of the National Forensic League, the country's largest and oldest speech and debate honor society. They will now join the ranks of past presidents, Supreme Court Justices, actors, and business tycoons as former high school speech and debate competitors.

Logan Billman, Aaron Jacobson, Anna Roach, and Michael Wucher will be attending American University, San Jose State University, the University of Toronto, and Pomona College respectively in the fall. The entire team wishes them the best in college and in all of their future endeavors. We are very lucky to have had them as competitors on the Team.
