VIDEO: Cañada Community Shares 9/11 Memories in Open Mic
From students to faculty, all shared their memories and emotions about 9/11.
It was a Day of Remembrance at for the entire community. Firefighters, professors and students all gathered in the open amphitheater to pause for a moment of silence and pay their respects to those whose lives were taken on Sept. 11, 2001.
While some at prepared speeches, other felt compelled to approach the microphone and share the pain, and the lessons they learned from 9/11.
