Thinking Ahead to Kindergarten?

The Redwood City School District will hold a Kindergarten Informational Night this Thursday for parents preparing to enroll a child next year.

There are few things in life more anxious for a parent than getting ready for your child to start kindergarten.

That's why the Redwood City School District wants to make the experience as painless as possible. The district will host a Kindergarten Information Night this Thursday, Oct. 11 from 6-8 p.m.

Families will have the opportunity to learn about what their child will experience during his or her first year of school, and how they can prepare them for success in kindergarten.

Instructions and guidelines on how to properly register your child within the Redwood City School District will also be covered.

This year, the district is revamping the timeline for its Schools of Choice application. The changes will be covered during the Information Night, and parents' questions on the registration and application processes will be answered.
