Remember, All the Good Stuff is Learned in Kindergarten

Redwood City School District (RCSD) kindergarten registration begins this Saturday, Jan. 25.

Kindergarten and transitional kindergarten registration for the 2014-15 school year in the RCSD begins this Saturday, January 25, from 9am - 1pm at neighborhood schools

Families who are unable to register children this Saturday, may also register at the District Office, 750 Bradford St., Redwood City, at any of the following times:

  • February 4, 3-6pm
  • February 13, 9am to noon
  • February 18, 3-6pm
  • February 27, 9-4pm

Families can also make an appointment by calling 650-423-2200. 

Students are guaranteed placement in their neighborhood school if space is available at the time they register.  Students are enrolled in the order in which they register.  If the neighborhood school does not have space at the time of enrollment, students are assigned to another school.

Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2014 in order to register for the 2014-15 school year.  

Children who turn 5 between September 2 and December 2 are eligible for transitional kindergarten.
