VIDEO: Pine Supporters Celebrate Victory

About 100 campaign volunteers gathered at Dave Pine's home in Burlingame to hear the results.

Only a select few peered at one small laptop with baited breath at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday to view the results. It wasn’t until Dave Pine pumped the air with two fists that supporters erupted in cheers and raucous applause.

“I’m ecstatic. This is a fantastic evening,” Pine said.

In his speech to his crowd of supporters, he humbly thanked everyone’s joint efforts for the past six months.
