Two Meetings Scheduled for Pete's Harbor Project

The City of Redwood City is seeking the public's input on the current Pete's Harbor proposal, which includes 411 residential units and a commercial marina.

The City of Redwood City will host two open house meetings for the Pete's Harbor project.  

City officials say the open house meetings will provide a forum where members of the public can speak directly with city staff and project representatives regarding the current project design and how it has changed from the original 2012 proposal.  

Topics to be covered include project design, open space and public access amenities, environmental review, and next steps in the review process.

The Pete's Harbor project was originally submitted to the City in July 2012 and has been revised over the past year due to city and community feedback. The current project proposal, submitted July 2013, includes 411 residential units and associated parking, public open space and amenities that include a spur of the Bay Trail and a commercial marina that may accommodate up to 65 boats.

  • Saturday Nov. 9, 2013, 10:00am to 12:00pm at Seaport Conference Center, 459 Seaport Court, Redwood City 94063
  • Wednesday Nov. 13, 2013, 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Sandpiper Community Center, 797 Redwood Shores Pkwy., Redwood City 

Community input will be reported back to the city in a town hall meeting Wed., Nov. 20 at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City 94063.
