Schmidt Voted Planning Commission Chair, Holt Voted Vice Chair

Vice Chair Ernie Schmidt moved to the Chair position and Rachel Holt was nominated unanimously as Vice Chair.

At Tuesday night’s Planning Commission Meeting, the Planning Commission unanimously nominated Ernie Schmidt as their new chair and Rachel Holt as the Vice Chair.

Traditionally, the Vice Chair is nominated to be the Chair.

“I’m honored by the nomination and my peers’ confidence in me,” Schmidt told Patch. “The shoes I fill are huge, when I look back at our previous Chairs, such as Vice Mayor Gee, Planning Commissioner Radcliffe and more recently Planning Commissioner Borgens.”
