Newcomer Joins City Council Race In Redwood City

James Han pulled nomination papers on Monday to start running for a seat on Redwood City's City Council, according to Silvia Vonderlinden, city clerk for Redwood City. James Han is also known in the community as James Lee. He is the seventh person to declare interest in one of the three seats that will become available this November.

Ernie Schmidt turned in his nomination paperwork to the city clerk on Monday afternoon. The signatures his campaign gathered to nominate him are in the process of being verified. 

Jeff Gee, Diane Howard, and John Seybert are officially in the race, with all nomination signatures verified and certified, according to public records.
