The candidate has local ties to Redwood City.
Though today is the last day to mail in your ballot for the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors District 1 seat, yesterday in Redwood City so you can still vote in person. If you haven't made up your mind yet, perhaps Mayor Jeff Ira's endorsement will make a difference.
He's endorsing the candidate who was the Redwood City Planning Commissioner from 1993 to 1999.
