Letter to the Editor: Concern About Pete's Harbor Development Timeline

The authors pose two questions to the Redwood City Planning Commission in their consideration of the residential project.

Dear Editor,

After many months of consideration of the Pete’s Harbor Project,  we are concerned by the amount of time that the development process is taking.  Under equal protection of the law, it seems to us that there are two questions to ask:

Does the project fit the requirements required for approval as stated in the applicable laws, ordinances, and plans for our community?

Is it a quality development reflecting environmental responsibilities, the adjustments requested, and the goals of our city?

If the answer to both questions is yes, we urge the Redwood City Planning Commission and the City Council to act accordingly.
